Here is a very nice original Ivory Automatic Electric 50 monophone telephone made of Ivory catalin and was produced in the 1940s. Its a very rare because of the color. Most of these were black

Some call this the AE50 and it is about as ART DECO as it gets.

Its beautiful Ivory catalin  is shiny and it is crack and chip free. It has beautiful  chromium covered brass bands and a nickel plated fingerwheel and number card ring.

The dial has a nice  porcelain dial plate in mint condition and it turns and returns like its supposed to .

The telephone itself is made of Ivory catalin.

This wall telephone has one plunger under the handset and is much more rare than the AE40 which was produced during  the same time period

You used to see these more often. Now they are mostly only in the hands of serious collectors and seldom seen.

The handset cord is a black braided extensicord.
