This AE 34 is the rarest version of the AE34 . Very few of these exist. It is the rare cradle lift version or called the AE34 Late Edition. Very few have ever seen these. Automatic Electric company factory cut out the area so these awesome phones could be carried around. If you know or have a regular AE34 you know that they cannot easily be carried around to talk. Very few were made as soon the AE40 came out.
It comes with newly plated nickel trim as pictured.
This model has 1 plunger and was produced in 1934. Its handset and body are made of black Bakelite which is buffed and polished better than new.
It features the type 38 handset with the spit cup and 2 black woven cloth cords are included.
The base has a soft rubber gasket to keep your furniture from damage. This Automatic Electric model 34 works and rings beautifully. Fully functional.
It is about as art deco as it gets. If you want this rare version Buy it. I have 2 of them and its the only reason I'm offering this.
