- Pulse to Tone converter ( for digital telephone providers) Rotary dial
Product Description
This is a must if you have digital telephone service. Now you can still use your rotary phone. This will convert the pulse dialing from your cool old rotary phone to DTMF tones compatible with modern VOIP equipment.
This Unit is the Best on the Market. It works with almost all providers. Others do not
The cheaper units you see do not work with all polarities. Homes many times have reverse polarities. This unit works with all polarities
Now you can still use your wonderful rotary dial telephone. Just plug it in and your rotary telephone works like it did before. Dialing on a quality rotary phone is great. The tactile heaviness of the dial, the finger stop. The smooth whirr of the gears, all provide you with the opportunity to slow down and think how things were earlier when life was somewhat better.
Its nice to forget about all those modern things for a while.
There is nothing like an old phone when ringing fills the room as it would half a century ago. Works with low voltage VOIP like Magic jack and AT &T U-verse, Comcast and others
There are several kinds out there. This one is the best and its hassle free.

Arrived quickly & works as advertised!

It should be noted that I only have one rotary phone, so this is the first converter I've had to buy. However, installation was a breeze, and works as advertised with my Verizon FIOS phone service. Now I can use my Western Electric 302 to place calls!
Having grown up with rotary phones, it's definitely an odd feeling to make a call with a rotary phone again. The audio quality with this particular phone is very good, and much better in fact than when using a smartphone, even when the person on the other end is using a cell phone.
Something perversely satisfying about using an 82-year old phone. Getting my 14-year old son to successfully place a call with it was a hoot! -
A MUST for old phones in today's environment

I've now bought three Dial Gizmos and am so thankful for their existence. You can now enjoy all your rotary dial phones over VoiP circuits, which you otherwise would not be able to do. Plus, they have added features other similar devices do not. So easy to install and use as well. An EXCELLENT product!

ANALOG TO DIGITAL CONVERTER
Posted by Tom on 25th Apr 2019
I recently installed this converter on my Western-Electric 233G Pay Phone with Verizon Fios ( not the Fios VOIP) , and it worked perfectly. It’s small enough to be installed inside the pay phone right above coin box housing. I’m thrilled, got the use of my phone back ! Thank you

Awesome! Best rotary-tone converter I've seen
Posted by Simon Plaistowe on 15th Jan 2019
I'm using this on a NZPO Type 100 phone and it works perfectly. The phone is plugged directly into the phone port on our ONT (fibre box). This unit is actually a DialGizmo (made in Australia, although I was unable to source one directly from them). Much easier than the Rotatone unit, which I would have had to install inside the phone. Has switchable options to match various dialling sequences, including one which works here in New Zealand.
