Here is an original Stromberg Carlson round base circa 1919 telephone handset. This handset is for the model 1179 and was the first cradle telephone made by this company. It was made in the same time period that Western Electric made the A1. This phone was made after the candlestick phone.

 There are no cracks or chips in this beautiful working handset.  Made of bakelite and it comes highly polished.
