Here is the Brass tag thats missing or not  readable that goes on a Western Electric transmitter for candlestick and wood wall phones .  They have an adhesive back so you can just stick them on. There is also a peel off protective coating on the top . 

Or you can finish them by drilling and adding rivet looking brads like you see I have done  in the 2nd and 3rd  pictures .
