Here is the Brass tag that's missing or not readable that goes on a Western Electric transmitter for candlestick and wood wall phones. They have an adhesive back so you can just stick them on. There is also a peel off protective coating on the top.
Or you can finish them by drilling and adding rivet looking brads like you see I have done in the 2nd and 3rd pictures.
