Product Description

Here is one nice  model 1C originally manufactured in the 1960s or 1970s and was refurbished since.  It's in nice shape! A rotary Bell System, made by Western Electric payphone.  It has the "Bell logo" on the really nice condition cleaned & polished chrome face plate and the coin return is marked Bell System, Made by Western Electric Company. This one is  from Chicago Illinois USA.  It's been wired with a modular cord, all you have to do is plug it in and you will get dial tone. The phone rings with incoming calls, it has it's original double brass bell ringer inside. No coins are needed to make calls but if you deposit them they will be brought down through the chutes to the vault area.

These original  Western Electric single slot payphones with the rotary dial are already  getting hard to find. This one also has the matching green back board with security studs and it is priced a little higher because of that.

It comes with original 29A locks 2 keys, 1 key for the upper housing lock and the vault lock and a T key that will unlatch both the upper housing and the vault door!!!!
