Here is an original Jade Green AE40 telephone made by Automatic Electric telephone. There are no cracks or chips in this beautiful working phone and its trim is 24Kt Gold. This Monophone is made of Green Caitlin and is not a painted phone. It is one of the nicest Jade Green AE 40s we have had.

This partcular AE40 has real gold plated brass  bands and all chrome hardware including a 24KT butlers handle, finger wheel, card holder and chrome finger stop.

This telephone was special ordered this way in 1940. This Jade Green  phone is strikingly beautiful and very rare. These are much harder to find in this color than black or ivory.

This original  AE40 Monophone has a beautiful original braided Extensi cord handset cord. 

It has a modular plug on the matching black cloth  line cord (not shown in the pictures ) so you will just plug it in and enjoy. This very elegant Art deco phone is very stylish with its curves.

The Caitlin was buffed and polished and its dial calibrated. Virtually no wear to the dial or its porcelain dial plate.

 Its rubber base soft and pliable and will not damage you furniture.

Inside the phone are 2 nice individually tuned brass bells that harmonize to deliver a wonderful nostalgic ring that has been since forgotten. Not like your cell phone of today.

This is a very reliable workhorse. And its beauty cannot be matched.
