Here is an original working antique round base 102 telephone that was patented in the late 1920s and produced by the Western Electric telephone company. This 102 round base model is much more rare than the oval base 202 which you more commonly see on Ebay.
The metal has went thru a glass bead blast process. Then this telephone went thru a special powder coating process which is much mkore durable than a paint finish. The bakelite e1 handset with the spitcup mouth piece has been buffed and polished to a high shine.
This telephone has the older wraspier sounding Clicktey -Clack sounding #2HB dial. The dials rural plate is in mint condition with no wear. The dial has been cleaned, calibrated and properly lubricated. This 2 HB dial has the fancy finger stop as you can see from the pictures . All so included as a subscriber set is an original 634 subset ringer box . The beautiful gong type solid brass bells have been newly nickel plated . This really has a beautiful sound that only these old ringers can make. Your whole room will be filled with the wonderful ring sound just as it would have almost a century ago .
The 3 brown woven cloth cords match. The wall cord has a modular end so you can just plug it into your telephone wall recepticle and enjoy this fully functioning antique. The bottom has suede leather as was used on these telephones so you do not mar your furniture. This beautiful original telephone and subscriber set will make a nice display piece as well as being a fully usable working antique.
